TheSaint,
In my strong honest opinion, Hi-Lo is a weak counting system in a DD game. In pitch games (i.e. single deck and double deck games), playing efficieny is most important whereas for shoe games, betting correlation is very important. I mean you can still make a modest profit in shoe games even if you ignore the Illustrious 18 as discovered by Don Schlesinger. I think with the Hi-Lo system, playing effiency = 0.51 and is one of the worse counting system to use in a DD game.
My suggestion would be learn a counting system with a good playing effeciency such as Hi-Opt 2. In pitch games, you will need to learn many indices because you have to divert from BS quite often. Obviously, you can wong out but the more you wong out, the more heat will occur.
