Dealer can't figure insurance

At smaller and newer casinos, it has happened several times that dealers are just plained stumped on insurance.

The count has finally gotten high enough to insure and I'm looking forward to winning the inurance bet - and the dealer is stumped - "Well, lets see - duh, uh... Floor!!!" I'm trying to explain, other players trying to explain - the whole game gets dealyed - dealer yells again: "Floor!"

It is especially embarassing if is not what a ploppy would consider an insurable hand!

Also, when I don't have exact change, and have to lay down more chips than half my bet, some dealers do not provide change at that time - they just figure they'll deal with it later if you happen to get lucky...

What's really infuriating is when a dealer starts to take the entire amount I put down, even though its more than half - then I'm the one yelling "Floor!

Wait, paying an insurance bet is easy, just match the chips that you have out there, twice.

Now, one time when I surrendered a $111 bet... that got kind of ugly, especially since the casino didn't have .50 chips, only $2.50.
