Dealer Mistake cost me but in the end saved the table

I was at a local casino over the weekend playing Super Fun 21. I was playing 3rd base towards the end of the shoe. The dealer deals out the first card and I get the K of Diamonds. I tap the table and say the A of Diamonds would be nice. In this game I get double for that. I ended up getting a 7.

Then she realizes that while dealing she dealt herself the cut card for the first card. So she calls the pit boss over and he has her deal the next 2 cards to herself. The first card(Which would've been mine) out of the shoe was the down card.

She had a Q up so proceeded to check for BJ. She had it and started to flip the cards. The Pit Boss meanwhile was giving us all the option of pulling back our bets. 1st base and I were reaching for out bets before he got done saying it. The other 3 guys got this confused look on their faces, so the pit boss explained it again. 2 of them had 16's so they pulled their bet back. The 3rd guy had a 20 and wanted to play his. Both 1st and I, said to him "But, she has a Blackjack!". Eventually he pulled back his bet. All this time the Pit Boss was just standing there laughing.

Then she flipped her down card to display the A of Diamonds. She would've still had a BJ in the normal flow because 1st base got an A for his second card. But it cost me my double payment on the suited BJ while saving the rest of the table.

I was playing SF21 as a change of pace. I've actually done pretty good at it.

ZG - What gives you the idea that I don't know the correct BS? I've used the BS found at wizardofodds.com pretty successfully.

Even playing the game using BS is a bad idea...
