Deviation from BS

Here's the deal, playing multiple-deck BJ with BS only:
You: A,7
Dealer: 9

You hit, get a 5, making 13.
You hit, get a 2, making 15.
You hit, get an Ace, making 16.

BS tells you to hit again. You've just hit 3 small cards; I would say that you shouldn't expect another small card. So do you defiantly stand, or follow BS and pray you get an A-5?

actually you recieved two babies or small cards the 5 & 2. and you recieved two high cards the aces. two neutral cards the 7 & 9 .
the basic strategist would go ahead hit and pray (optional).

A hard 16 is the worst total you can have. Chances are greater you will lose it anyway, but the theory is you might as well go down fighting against the dealers' very possible (and likely) 20/19/18/ or 17 hand, which beats your 16 everytime. The fact you got a few small cards already is completely irrevelant......Use and stick to basic strategy always. With a 6 or 8 deck shoe there are many other small cards left, never "use the force" or your guts......go with the mathematics everytime if you hope to be a winner.
