Do you have a signal for when friends should raise their bets?

Does anyone have a signal they give their friends when they play at the same table? I was disturbed by the fact that my non-AP friends would sometimes mimic whatever I did. Since sometimes I raise my bet in negative territory, using some worthless progression or other pattern, solely for the purpose of masking my counting, I decided I had better have a way of warning them when the count was not positive. Now, when the count is negative, I place my bet at the bottom edge of the betting circle nearest to me. When the count is positive, I place my bet at the top edge of the betting circle farthest from me. It's simple and effective.

As I neither use progressions, nor have friends, this is never come up.
lol Well, now, that case never entered my mind.

Let me guess. When you play you must hit quick and get out. No? I mean with no cover, that seems like the only way.

So now your friends will appear like CC but without that cover. I guess if nobody kicks them out after a long while, you could abandon progressions in neg counts lol.

One time, I was merely observing a table a friend was playing at. He was at first base, i was looking over third base's shoulder. When the count got good, I just started giving him a thumbs up signal. He had no idea what I was doing.

Straight outta the Kenny Uston playbook for having a counter guide a "gorilla" big player. Actually, they had a few different signals for different levels.

My standard line is "I don't like people".

I know you haven't been thrilled with your counting results. Perhaps you're doing more camo than necessary? As a good friend often reminds me when I get a little paranoid - don't back yourself off.

While playing at the same table, I believe a friend could mach your bets, In different unit sizes. For example, If you both happen to be betting Table Min(10$) and when you bump to 20$, He could bump to 50$. Or lets say you went MaxBet for 40X40$ He would then go 200x200$

It could be something to experiment with. Good luck!

I assume you don't play this game with friends locally. Chances are one of your friend's will be winning and immediately draw attention to friends. If they count one of you down they have the rest.

Well, as a matter of fact, he always bets something different than what I bet and never matches a full spread. Also, his play is so unpredictable throughout the course of a shoe that they would never suspect him of counting, believe me. He's of the "I think I'm due to win one" school, but he also tries to take advantage of my counting at times.
