Does anyone Buy or Sell Promotional Chips?

There may be an old thread about this somewhere, But I didn't see it. Do any of you sell your promotional chips? Do any of you buy promotional chips?

I now the values vary based on the casino rules for the chips and I was curious if anyone here ever just buys or sells them.

I recently had 3k in "single use" chips and had several people offer to buy them... But they weren't offering anything close to what I thought I could do with them..

I get them more and more often.. and like you say.. a lot of them are from places I won't see for awhile.

I often get them as comps and such... I usually play them but I imagine some don't or don't know what to do with them.

Make connections. These things have a lot of value. They're an important source of income to any serious player. There has to be trust on both sides, obviously. The best thing is if you can trade favors with someone, assuming you have the ability to make use of chips at a casino near you. If you are going to sell them outright, expect the price to be a fraction of the expected return from playing them, maybe as little as half, due to the hassle and variance the buyer is taking on.

I don't have any at the moment

Hey Guys...

I don't have any at the moment. I've played all of mine..

The purpose of this post is to see what they are worth "in the market" if some one wants to buy or sell.

I get them from time to time.. If you might be interested in buying in the future or even selling some, let me know (PM me). I'll try to match you up with someone who's going somewhere to use them.

Promotional chips? How exactly do these work?

I don't mean to spam, I've just never heard of these before.
They are chips that are given by the casinos for comps and promotions. Some are "non cashable single use" where they keep the chip but pay you in real money. Unlike real chips you can only use them to wager... you can't cash them in at the cage.

Others are just "non cashable" and work just like real chips when you play them, (they give the chip back on a win) but you can't cash them at the cage.

Single Use Non Cashable Chips aren't as valuable to the the player as Straight Non Cashable chips.
