Whats a decent spread for Double Deck at major strip properties in Vegas?
I only really play shoes but im looking to expand to DD in Vegas a little more.
I heard the good DD strip games (s17 etc.) and counter catchers and the only time i got insta heat was at one of them, but is this really true?
Ill be playing rated a bit so i dont want to burn my name needlessly.

When i play shoes its anon 50 to 2 x 350, or rated 2 x 50 to 2 x 300, so im looking for a betting ramp with similar heat levels.

I mean, 1-10 is a GOOD spread, but it'll get you backed off at the green chip level quite quickly. My recommendation is to play unrated at the MGM properties and maybe locals joints and spread 1-8.

It's more about what you can get away with when you get to the green and black chip level, rather than maximizing your EV for your bankroll.

Also, are you wonging out of those shoes? Because a spread of 1-8 is not very strong, even on good shoe games.

1-12 is doable, but a Consolidation Gambit of 3x50 - 1x 350-400 could be a good tactic. zg

More than 1-12 is doable for red chippers. $5-75 can be done at a lot of places...

The OP wanted to know what to spread on a DD S17 game. I take it you are talking about a shoe game, because a 1-8 spread on a S17 DD game is more than you need. Let me just spread 1-5 on any S17 DD game with good pen and I'll kill it.

Yeah, technically it's more than you "need" but going from 1-5 to 1-8 is going to add a LOT of money to your hourly rate.

And shortgevity to your stay there. (to coin a word) But if it's hit and run, you have my blessing, my son. Hell, don't stop there!
