Sorry for all the seemingly "simple" questions, gang, but I have a specific reason for asking all of these.
This one is regards to doubling-down. ONLY on the first two cards? Or could one double-down after receiving, say, a 3 on a 3-5 hand (three cards totaling 11)?
but some games, allow you to DD after you split. In this case...
if you split 8 n 8, and your first 8 gets a 3, you can also double down on that
then you would have to deal with the next 8, if you get a desirable number, DD on that too!
Usually you can only double down on your first 2 cards. It's a rare house rule to allow you to double down after receiving your third card and I only know 2 casinos that have it, the Bighorn and Longhorn in Vegas.
