Starting in mid-March ,gamblers at The El Cortez will be able to order and eat food from a select menu while they gamble.
After observing an Indian casino in Cali that does it,EC mnagement has given the experiment the go ahead.Partly because there is no smoking in their restraurants, partially for the players comfort.
Thoughts?

They're talking about Barona I bet. It's weird to see people with eating lobster on effectively a room service tray right beside their stool. (and half of the time, it is lobster)

... of course, that still doesn't mean I want to try it sometime. :)

Roberta's Steakhouse,in the Cortez,is one of the top values in Vegas.
Best T-Bone I've had out there.Great salads and fantastic values.
Curious about the table games/snacks myself

It's an absolute horrible rule. I've played in casinos which allow it, and it never fails when its the turn of the player who is eating he is just about to take a bit and slows the game down to a crawl!

Hmmm? Let's see...crab claws(iodine) and lemon juice(acetic acid) and handling cards. Sounds like the makings of..............EXCUSE ME! just mumbling out loud to myself here.

yeah but on the plus side you would be able to get the count much easier. but as for myself i wouldn't eat at the table. for one you are handling your chips and God-knows-what is on them. remember not everyone washes their hands after using the bathroom. Gross.

Sonny thats hilarious!

are you thinking an indie type movie, with cameras hidden inside trenchcoats, and backroom shakedowns?
suspense,

intrigue
, and cheap romance?
