Don't you see it? The engine advises doubling down on 11 against a dealer upcard of ten. The card says, "Hit."

It says to double on the trainer, when it says to hit on the chart.
However this is correct because he's using the chart for dealer t
akes all on doubles, when he has a BJ. Tottjohn, its same reason it says to hit AAvA.

You specified Early Surrender. Are you sure about that?
Is there any website that states blackjack rules of various casinos?

According to the site that chessplayer linked to, it's Early Surrender against 10s only -
You may "Surrender" to the House by giving half of your bet, provided the House's first card is not an Ace. All decisions to "Surrender" shall be made immediately after the initial 2 cards are dealt to you.

Colin, the one you are referring to is pontoon?

Players can surrender half of the initial bet only when the dealer's first card is an Ace or any Picture cards. However, if dealer achieves Pontoon the surrender will be considered void.

I'm talking about blackjack.

You are not allowed to surrender against an ace. That means you only get the benefit of early surrender against tens and face cards. (None of the surrender actions indicated in the right-hand column of your strategy chart will be available.)

As a result, I think the house edge will be around 0.4%, rather than the 0.01% shown on your chart.

Enjoy the mountain air and save your money in the casino. Genting has only Pontoon about 50 tables and no BJ tables (zero). In the International Room they have 1 BJ table but you need a Genting silver card to get in. And the table minimum is RM100 (US$30) which is alot of money even in the US. And the BJ is according to ENHC rules so you have to know what you are doing.

Thanks Mr T for the advise. I do remember seeing a few (around 2-4 tables) in genting casino the last time I was there and were always crowded.

And you are right, pontoon floods the casino floor due to the better edge to the casino...
