If you go all-in on Tournament blackjack and get a blackjack against an Ace when blackjack pays 3 to 2 can you get even money? Or if you want to insure your blackjack do you have to have money behind you to insure in tournament blackjack?

I'd think any competent player would be sure to leave enough off the table in case of a DD or a split.

I think there would be a number of tournament scenarios where you would not want to hold back half of your chips.... but admittedly have not played tournament blackjack in a casino before and can not answer the question.

Some casinos allow even money in tournaments, while others require that you have enough chips available to insure your blackjack. You'll have to inquire at your particular casino as to which rule is in effect.
