I've been thinking about this idea for awhile. Could we perhaps have some sort of place to talk about investing in other players/teams from the board?

For example, if I make $100k playing blackjack, I may not want it all locked up in one team. I may want to invest in other teams/players. We all know blackjack returns better than stocks, so why not break up your stock portfolio into ten different teams? You're diversified enough, and your returns are better.

We might even be able to attract professional outside investors.

Any ideas?

It's a sound idea, however I think it would be difficult to execute.

It would involve a lot of trust between the parties.

With the trust the person who is getting invested in would probably have to somehow show they are a worthy investment.

I like the idea a lot. I think it will be difficult to execute as many people here want to protect their identity.

if you want a team to invest in, I am a player on a team that just secured initial funding and is always looking for more.

Very organized, set up as a corporation.

I ,for one, have no desire to deal with the BS that would follow " outside investors" becoming regular posters here. Thanks, but no thanks. As someone who has gone looking for seed money and "angel "investors in the past, this isn't how you find them.

Should of invested in Ford Motor Car company you would of doubled your money in less then a month. Triple is coming very shortly. Sometimes its not wise to get your prejudice in front of common sense.
