Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun

I'm a new user to using strategy and the two casinos close to me are Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. How I do know what the conditions are at a table, such as is surrender allowed, double after split or not, S17 or H17, etc. I went online to the casino website but (surprise, surprise) those kinds of things were not listed. So, do I just go to the casino and ask?

Thanks.

You can call them up and ask. But if I'm not mistaken I believe most of their games are 8 decks S17 DAS, S17 and LS

The crucial difference between the two stores in CT is that Foxwoods offers marginally good penetration, while Mohegan Sun gives poor penetration.

In your case, as you are not (yet) counting cards, Mohegan Sun is slightly preferable, but it really makes no tangible difference in your case.

Just understand that by playing the correct Basic Strategy, (including surrender) you will simply lose about .36% of all money wagered over time.

That being said, if you simply bet $15 per hand and get to bet 100 hands per hour for a 4 hr. evening — you can expect to lose an average amount of about $20, although you will often lose many times that amount.

Thus explaining why casinos actively promote and encourage progressive betting as "the only way to win at BJ."

The secret is, bet big on winning hands, and small on losing hands. Do not spread this around or the casinos will be boarding up their doors. ;)

In the long run you will lose no more with progressive betting per dollar bet.

Of course progressions might motivate one to bet more.

Like I said in the post about progressive betting with cc, the difference between progressive betting and flat betting the average bet of the progressive system is the variance involved, which depending on the system, can be quite substantial, which makes it more dangerous than his flat betting brother.
