Foxwoods vs Mohegan Sun

Foxwoods vs Mohegan Sun
I'm planning a trip to either Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun.
Someone here posted that he prefers Foxwoods over Mohegan Sun.
However, in a different post, someone said that Foxwoods has 8-decks while
Mohegan Sun has 6-decks.
Wouldn't that make Mohegan Sun better than Foxwoods?
Although I dislike 8-decks, I will play it (with a frown).
I use Hi-Lo and don't back-count a lot, but I do Wong-out.
Recently, I've been playing two hands (all the time) of $25 or $50 each hand.
Which resort would be better for me?
Also, any tips or advice to someone going there for the first time?

The effect of 6D vs 8D pales in comparison to the effect of penetration. Foxwoods pen is acceptable. Mohegan's is not. Search through the forum for details.

It sounds like you are a Basic Strategy player, as you said — "I've been playing two hands (all the time) of $25 or $50 each hand"

That being the case you will probably prefer Mohegan Sun.

Naturally, my advice is to avoid all casinos, as you are "operating at a loss."

Hey FLASH1296, thanks for the sarcastic reply. I use Hi-Lo. I play two hands all
the time to reduce the fluctuation (standard deviation). I can show you the
simulations I ran if you're interested. Actually, QFIT has an interesting website
with an analysis of the merits of playing two hands all the time. But you may
need someone to explain the mathematical results. Sorry, just kidding.
Constantly switching between one hand and two hands draws a lot of heat.
Didn't you know that?
I usually go to Atlantic City, and my visits are usually very productive.
This will be my first visit to CT, so I was asking for some advice.
I think I'll go to Foxwoods.

He also said "hi-lo". I think he's just playing two hands all the time, not playing $25 or $50 all the time.

I frequent both properties and think they both have their ups and downs. Agree that the penetration is awful at Mohegan - food quality is worse too.
However, depending on what time/day you plan to play, I find that Mohegan seems to keep more tables open during off-hours making it much easier to move from table to table. That's just been my experience. I give a slight edge to Mohegan based on some "exploitables" that I have found, but not considering those, I'd recommend foxwoods.
