Golden Touch

I have been looking at the "Golden Touch" BJ Seminars, and thinking of attending. Has anyone attended, or any suggestions? I am a new member and sorry if this question has been asked before.

You can get a very similar system for free on Arnold Snyders website.Both methods are discussed at great length.Seems to be more effective than simple BS,but not as powerful as most full counting systems. Is real easy to learn.

Results for both Golden Touch (Speed Count) and OPP are grossly exaggerated. I believe such false claims are damaging to gamblers looking for a quick way to beat casinos.

If a newbie learns OPP in 3-minutes, thats what its worth. Simple RC HiLo with BS is not much harder and its better. OPP SUCKS! zg

Depends on your definition of "learn" Anyone that says you can actually be trained to beat a casino in three minutes, or three days, obviously should be ignored.

Hi-Lo takes about 20 seconds to "learn". It could hardly be simpler. Learning to use this to give yourself a decent edge at a casino table is a totally different thing however, and takes probably around 100hrs+(not an accurate figure I'm sure) to grasp well enough to use. Then there are further things to learn like indices etc.

It all depends, as QFIT stated, on what your definition of "learn" is, and what it is you are claiming to learn (or what a company claims to teach); the principle of a system, or the full system in its entirety that can be used to beat a casino.

Just wondering zen but what counting method do you personally use.Also i am getting very proficient at BS and The Red Seven count and so i was just wondering what your views were on The Red Seven Count.

I learned KO in three minutes... when I'll feel comfortable enough to sit down at a casino card table and implement it is another story. The IRC for 8-deck is -28. Right now, when I'm showing a J,6 I don't know if I have a total of 16, if the RC is -16, or if the song playing in the background is, "You Load 16 Tons." My head is swimming.

golden touch vs ko

In regards to the advantage it is my humble opinion is to go with the ko count. I am no expert but have used both in casino conditions and even though the goldentouch is way easier it is not accurate and does not give you a true picture of the remaining deck. KO may be harder but with enough practice in the casino with low limit tables to minimize the loss you can and will see improvement over time. Zengrifter would be right in saying there are more accurate counting methods than KO it is just a matter of what your brain can handle. I learned the hard way and bought the stupid book on goldentouch and keep it around to remind myself of stupid things I bought. blackchipjim:whip:
