If any of you have read my three card poker post in "other games" forum. You will read about the double payout promo my local casino was having. Well it turned out to be what i original thought it was. The three card poker game payed 2x as much as usual. Giving the player a 90%+ edge. The players pool that i talked about was where the double payout money came from. All the money that the casino had collected in there 50cent ante's for the whole year was going to be paid back to the players Over this two week promo period... Or so they thought... Apparently they didnt think anyone would realize what a advantage this is for the player. They were half right because Myself and my friend were the only two serious players there. I told my friend about it and said that he could keep half his winnings and i would bankroll him.
We played the game as Ken told me to. Never folding, playing every hand. Betting table max essentially 75 dollars a hand(25x3 bets). The pace of the game was horrifically slow maybe 30hands a hour. Because after a hour or so the table was completely full with ploppies who couldnt believe "how good the cards are." The game started at 11:50 am we played until 4:50pm at which point the GM of the casino instructed them to shut down the promo. The table had payed out almost $20,000. 13K went to my friend and I. After I paid him his "cut" of $3700. I was up almost 10k for the five hours of play. I think if i spent the rest of my life scouring the earth for some promo this good I will never find it again.
