Grifter's Gambit ala AC?

I was just rereading the Grifter's Gambit from the Zengrifter Interview and the thought occurred, "I wonder if there is a way to adapt this strategy to a 6-deck game?" Maybe betting 4 or 5 hands, 1 unit each, until the count goes plus. Then betting 5 units, 8-10 units, and 12-15 units in one spot as the count goes more positive. Has anyone ever done this, or run sims on the Grifter's Gambit for more than 1 or 2 decks? If not, is anyone willing to run this?

No, no, no it is not effective or necessary for shoe games.

Spread like hell, avoid playing negative counts. It's that simple. No cover, nothing fancy is useful at this level.

AM has the right idea. The Grifter’s Gambit requires deep penetration to be effective. That is why it is best suited for those rare 1-2 deck games. Most shoe games don’t cut deep enough to make this strategy worthwhile.

It was just a thought. I am always looking for new ways to enhance longevity in AC. I can't wait until my wife retires so we can move to Vegas as we have planned for five years now. She has at least 3 more years to go. Me, I'm getting a little long in the tooth, but God willing and the creek don't rise....
