Grrrr

I just needed to vent after getting crushed despite having the optimal conditions (for AC) as in 6 deck S 17 85% penetration, a very tired dealer and a partnership with a ploppie who every time she had a double down or split, would let me do it for her since she was afraid to risk more than $10. :) I can't imagine how high my ev must have been given these circumstances but grrrrrr. Not every day you are presented with gifts like these.

It happens to all of us. Based on my play over the last year, I'm not convinced DD games are any better than shoe games

There are the simulations of billions of hands---but actual results may vary.:whip:

I know--last trip to Vegas I only got even by playing a 6 deck game at Planet Hollywood. Go figure!:)

I know this is crazy, but I have had days where I got beat up on 2D, moved to the shoes to only get my tail kicked again, then, as a last resort, moved to a CSM and get all my losses back!

One unfortunate thing about DD is being they tend to be play-all situations, H17 is more of an issue than it is in a shoe game.

And to compound the situation S17 is harder to find on DD.

4 decks is great, kind of best of both worlds

I've never seen a 4-deck game in either Vegas or Atlantic City.

In Midwest, the lowest limit games are 6 deck, and higher limit games are 4 deck.

Kind of like how in AC lowest games are 8 decks, and you can more easily find 6 deckers if you're playing higher limits.

In the midwest, $10 and up can be considered "high limit" depending on the casino.

I haven't been everywhere but I've NEVER seen $10 considered high limit. It can be hard to find decent games below $10 on the weekend.

Well I don't know about you, but I'm not keen on the idea of playing somewhere where they can do whatever they please to you since you're not in US jurisdiction.

I don't blame you. But the truth of the matter is I see better games and generally have a better "experience" in most Native Stores as compared to the standard Big Flashy/Trashy Casinos. But, Of course I do know CP. :)

I was playing at Fiesta Rancho in Vegas, and being a $10 min player, was the high roller at the casino. Everyone else was jammed in to the $3 game a couple tables down, while I was heads up.

That's true, but they really sweat you at the Fiesta. Were you asked to leave?

They are still subject to federal jurisdiction, it's the state level on down where it gets tricky.

And most of the Indian stores definitely offer fair games around here. Don't let some of those bad Indians out west give all natives a bad name.
