Heat for Non-Counters?

Has anyone heard any stories of BJ players getting kicked out of casinos just because they were consistent winners? I wonder if some super-paranoid casinos might throw out a progressive player if they were winning more than the casinos were used to losing, like a casino that mostly caters to red chippers and dumping cash to someone playing black.

Just curious. . .

Even the guy who invented Microsoft word got booted out of casinos because he won too much at Video Poker (as i recall, kind of fuzzy). So its not just table games and pit bosses....anyone making money is the enemy.... Casino's werent built to hand out money is what i reckon

I think the Barbaric Coast or Baryou Coast has been infamous for many years for tossing out anyone on a winning streak. I have heard enough stories about flat bettors being backed off to understand that your cousin's boyfriend committed the unforgiveable sin of winning.

BJ21's free page had a story about a civilian getting backed off at the Wynn.

I've heard several similar stories about the old BC.

As far as "heat". Many player's feel heat when the floor person or PB is sweating the money. It is standard practice for too many casinos.

Thanks for the link. It was certainly interesting. I'd like to be that guy that night . . . he won quite a bit.

One other question (which I'm sure no one here can answer). . .

Why the hell are the message boards over there so amateurish? Looks like something from 1996. . . They should upgrade their software. . .

$5,400 is nothing at Wynn. The table was $300 min. Thats like a lucky red chipper winning $90. It happens all the time.

Yeah, regardless of units won, the fact of the matter is that $5400 is a good bit of money to me. I bring home about $1500 a month. I don't even have a car right now. So yes, I would like to be that guy . . . or at least have the money he won.

OK I understand what you are saying. But at the Wynn that is chump change. Hell theres a Ferrari Dealership almost within spitting distance of the tables. For Wynn to backoff a lucky ploppy for $5,400 is just laughable.

I got you. Well I've certainly never played at the Wynn. At my casinos in Wendover it's mostly $5 tables with the higher minimums being around $25.

By the way, this is probably off the mark but your screen name wasn't inspired by the band Suicidal Tendencies was it?
