You will either be up by more than the house edge or down by more than the house edge. You will still have more chances to be down than to be up, it doesn't matter when you stop.

Steerpike -- The next time you log in and resume playing, that will simply be your next hand and the overall results will accumulate as if you had never quit.

Playing just BS you are facing an overall disadvantage playing the whole shoe ... it starts at ~ -.05% and the (dis)advantage varies a bit throughout. A $10 flat better can easily win or lose in the +- $150 for that shoe. Quits after wining X hands, you still start the next shoe with the same disadvantage regardless of if it is the next shoe or a shoe on another day. If he manages to play 100,000 shoes in his lifetime, it is very likely he will be down overall about the amount of the house edge.

That's why some counters wong in and out as the count changes ... to benefit more from the times they have an advantage. Playing only BS, you will not know when you or the house have an advantage

I think online casinos shuffle between every hand, so every hand is at a slight disadvantage just like the first hand out of the shoe. ... you may win or lose, but it has nothing to do with how you did last hand/session/day/week or month.

That's why betting progressions alone are worthless as explained here:
