For discussion:

What a some of the ways to gauge your heat from the pit? Just the bosses looking at you alot or coming over all the time and scoping your stack or when they do fills all the time?

Any tips would be helpful so I can kind of get a feel for when I may get the boot.

-One time after i won a large some of money i noticed that the floor man kept making eye contact at me from a distance. But he didnt make any phone calls. and he only saw the last two hands of the shoe. Id rank this as heat level 1
my respons to this was moving to another pit out of his sight

-Typically (and by typically i mean if you get heat this is probibly what its going to be) somebody is just standing there with there arms folded watching your play. Id label this as heat level 2 and is probibly a good reason to goto another pit.
My response to this would be moving to another pit if he hadnt made any phone calls AND i hadnt made large bets and won more than 500$ or he walked away without making a phone call prior to the shoe ending.

I find that many times if this happens i start to sing, like kinda aloud and it often immediately promts them to think otherwise about me counting cards

-I recall a time when immediately after sitting dow my comp card was tossed in my face and one floorperson said to another floor person "are you going to watch this guy" and he replied "yeah ill watch this guy" Id rate this as heat level 3
My response was to play a few hands harmlessly and then find another casino.

-Another time i was repeadedly asked as to why i was taking insurance on crappy hands and making non basic strategy plays in an angry tone, and the lady seemed very angry. Id rate this as the highest kind of heat you could get while still being able to play.
My response to this was to immediately color up when the shoe went to a neutral count and i needed to lower my bets, then i left the casino with literally half of the chip trays green chips. totallying over 4000 dollars.

-The only other heat if you could call it heat i have gotten was a tap on the shoulder and the introduction of the pit boss who said "listen your too good for us"
My response was to grab all my chips and head for the cage without coloring up after telling him a story about how disapointed i was as i was almost to the point where i had won my money back. (totally a lie because iv taken this casino for over 15k since i started playing)
Its also worht noting that this happend without warning and i had only been in the casino for 40 minutes with no sign of interest in my play
