How to profit from the order of the cards!

Sometimes I see a player who is fearful of the order of the cards and they way that it effects his own hand. I have seen other players pay each other at the table to play a certain way. Or offer to pay them if the play the hand there way and happen to lose the hand. This can be very profitable to you if you have a really close hand like 16 vs a 10.

Another way to profit from the order of the cards is when the dealer makes a mistake and passes a player and hits people out of order people usually object to this if they get unfavorable cards but say nothing if they get favorable ones. A lot of the time if they get an unfavorable card and lose the hand the pit boss might call it a push because the cards where dealt out of order but if they get good cards and win they get to keep the money won!

Yes, and this is something I have manipulated intentionally. It's a good idea to have a general idea of win rates and values of dealer upcards and player firstcards to the player. That way you know if you want to play your hand after you see only one card, makes it look a lot more natural and less suspicious that way.

One thing you can watch for is dealer changes in houses where they have to burn a card between dealers. If it looks like the dealer is going to start dealing without burning, I put out a big bet. Normally I wait to see the dealer card, and if it is 9 or higher and a -EV situation for me I yell "Hey, what about the burn card?" The reason I wait to see the dealer card is because if it's a good card, most of the civilians will start clamoring too for the hand to be voided or optioned, not just me. Once I get the howler monkeys going I can just keep quiet when the PC gets there.
