How to start

I am a keen magican, and cheat while playing cards with friends (not for money). I saw a TV program on card counting today, and i would quite like to learn how to card count. I am complety new to blackjack and card counting and i have found alot of sites with alot of information. I was wondering what everyone used to learn card counting when they were starting off, and what helped them learn it. So basically what site will give a me the best intro into card counting, as i dont understand alot of the short hand used on this site

Do you use the pass? I know there are a ton of ways to cheat at cards, but that's a good one.

I could easily cheat at cards too, but I never do. I just learned them so I don't get cheated myself. And some of them I learned from magic sleights.

Yea i use the pass. Mainly the riffle pass. I control cards by means of shuffling, where they have to be, and then ask for the deck to be cut, but i dont let them put the two piles together, i put them on top of each other keeping a break then preform a riffle pass and they are none the wiser. Or i palm the cards off and drop them onto my lap, and bring the high cards into play when i need them

I think it would be fun to do that to your friends just for fun one time. But I wouldn't do it on a regular basis if it's free money since that takes the fun out of the game.

It's so easy at a friendly home game since noone knows what to look for, and noone pays that much attention. It's hard to see it even if you know it's coming.
