huge difference between 6 deck and infinite deck? check it out

i find it hard to believe that the difference between 6 deck and infinite decks is this much http://wizardofodds.com/blackjack/appendix5.html when the house edge is only a .07% difference.. green=+ev red=-ev.. to put it another way, everytime you see green, you would double (im not sure about splits though), so thats a hell of a lot of doubles that you normally wouldnt do.. seems odd

"to put it another way, everytime you see green, you would double sure"

I don't think that's true. There's a big difference in EV when playing out a hand normally compared to agreeing to only take one more card

Wrong interpretation

Green indicates positive expectation, not that you should double the hand. If someone would sell you their hand at face value you should buy the green ones.

i knew i was wrong on this, i knew something wasnt right, and you get a much better response if you make a statement rather than ask a question, as people like to correct more rather than give.. yup, i forgot, the EV is for the correct move, but it doesnt say what the move is.. i highly doubt all those are just for hitting/standing only, im sure its for h/s/d/p, depending on which is the best, right?

Yes, the title of the chart is "Player's Expected Return Using Basic Strategy".
haha.. doh.. altho, what IS the basic strategy for INFINITE decks? oddly, i do know one change, you dont double A4 vs 4 with 27 decks or more
