I have noticed lately alot of people who get AA are not splitting them but instead doubling down if the dealer is showing a 3-6 . Is this a correct move and is it profitable in the long run or short run . Most of the time you usually end up breaking even when splitting AA anyhow . Any comments on this would be greatly appreciated . TTY in advance !:)

A,A vs 6 EV

Doubling: 0.187954
Splitting: 0.678612

So, no, no, and no. Not even close.

Sometimes people like zengrifter will have a good reason for not splitting aces, but that shouldn't be a concern of yours (or mine!) at this point.

Good heavens where do people even get these ideas? :)

Try to learn the right play and not care what other people do because you know what u do is right.

I will go partners with you!

If you have 2 Aces on the table and need somebody to go partners with I would gladly match your bbet and go 50 50 with you on the hand. I will even do it with scary up cards like against an 10 or ace.
