I blew out of Laughlin today, a little disappointed. There were some playable DD games there (and one good SD one) and I got quite a bit of money out of one, but the pace of play is so slow there! Nice town though, I wouldn't mind going back to the area just for vacation.
Now I'm in LV and having a blast. I spread most of my play among the Monkey Carlo, Monkeylay Bay, and the Monkey Golden Monkey. The shoe games are quite playable and the crowds much less than what I'm used to. I actually got an entire shoe in heads-up at a $25 table, on a Saturday night.
Oh and I had an interesting time at a store with a reputation for bad treatment of AP's.:eyepatch: I went ape on their DD game, and they sure were mad at me! I'm not even going to say until I'm out of venue.

A side note-question: These 3 places you played; i thought they now only have h17 rules, and have s17 rules at 50min and up?
