Indice Confusion??

I use the High Opt 1 count and indices I got from here http://www.gamemasteronline.com/Archive/Blackjack/DD-BS-Variations.shtml (Archive copy)
and the illustrious 18 from Kevin Blackwoods recent book. There are a few minor variations between the two but when playing around on the other links from an earler post I noticed a lot of 2 and three number differences. Whats up with that?? Are the ones I use okay or should I recalculate?? I know there isnt that big of difference in rounding but a TC of a couple numbers is pretty substancial I would think in DD.
Thanks

Your numbers are ok, but you should switch your tags to HiLo (ie, include
the 2 as +1 and the A as -1... oh and stop side-counting Aces). zg

Different people use different methods of calculating indices. Some use simulation, others us algebraic approximation, others might use combinatorial analysis. Some people round their numbers, others truncate, others floor. Some use full-deck resolution, others use half-deck or exact card resolution. Some use risk averse or CE-adjusted indices, others use EV maximizing. The list goes on and on.

In the end, a difference of 2-3 point is not going to significantly affect your results.
