First of all I want to introduce myself and give you a little history about my experience. I have been reading these forums for many years but never posted. I started playing blackjack 5 years ago when I was 17. My friends and I looked old for our age, so no one questioned us, despite that they could lose their license. After playing and losing for a while, I saw the movie 21 and learned all about counting cards and advantage play. I was lucky enough to have found a quarter on the ground that I put into a slot machine and wouldn't you know it, I won $10,000. Of course I wasn't required to show any ID or sign any tax forms. It isn't that kind of casino. More of a laid back place and besides I am friendly with the pitboss, dealers and waitresses. So I took that $10,000 and made it my bankroll. I spread $100-$800 so my RoR was quite high, like 92% but wouldn't you know. I had a hot streak and turned that $10,000 into $100,000. Hey somebody has to make up that other 8%. So anyway is it better to play at a table by yourself or with other people. And I am not going to take insurance when the count calls for it. That is a sucker play, despite everything you read that says it is the single most important strategy diviation. Ok well be gentle because I am new. And I look forward to hearing all your advice.

Blah, blah, blah. Insert new name/handle. Repeat story.

Kj, somehow I don't think one of our newest members is going to like you very much ;)

At least he didn't have ZG questioning whether he even knew basic strategy or not like ZG did to me when I first joined years ago ;) (Hopefully I've convinced ZG since then!)

Which one of the new members, Thunder, not that it matters because they are all the same freaking person! Seiously, take a look at the dozen or so new, first time posters in the last 3 days, many with short one word names followed by numbers and really read the posts. They are all the same person. Plus one similar style name and post that is not a new member. He has been a member since 2008. Posted 7 times in one week in 2008, and now a 3 year lay off until yesterday, when he posted sounding exactly like the others. No it isn't a coincidence.

lol

Welcome KJ post ten times and you can p.m. people bahahahahahaha. No I completly agree with you I was just thinking how many new posters have showed up in the past 3-4 days or so. Same dude they are all to simular IMHO. And to boot if they come to the conclusion that there are enough simularities wouldn't that mean that this person/persons are using malware on both sites? hmmmm maybe proxy sites or something like torr network?

Not trying to be grammar police, but for future reference it's similar(ities) :)

That being said...I want to jump on the "OMG SAME POSTER!" bandwagon, but being new myself I wouldn't like someone making the same assumption about me. KJ, you have the floor.

statistical miscalculation

This poster didnt think that this strange cluster of posts would look so far out of the statistical norm to a bunch of people who have the mastery of statistics necessary to excel at AP blackjack? I guess he didnt think it through.

Welcome!

Nice to meet you, KJ!

I think you'll find that, like all the other new posters, you'll win a majority - around 99% - of the sessions you play. You will frequently cash out $10K-$30K without CTR, request for identification, or any notice from the pit/cage whatsoever.

I have also found that progressions help greatly with my winnings. I suggest you check out the voodoo subforum, and implement every system you see there.

You seem to know what you are doing, unlike many of the vets here who seem to lose about 40% or more of their hands.
Is it true that you should look for tables with dirty ashtrays?
