First of all I want to introduce myself and give you a little history about my experience. I have been reading these forums for many years but never posted. I started playing blackjack 5 years ago when I was 17. My friends and I looked old for our age, so no one questioned us, despite that they could lose their license. After playing and losing for a while, I saw the movie 21 and learned all about counting cards and advantage play. I was lucky enough to have found a quarter on the ground that I put into a slot machine and wouldn't you know it, I won $10,000. Of course I wasn't required to show any ID or sign any tax forms. It isn't that kind of casino. More of a laid back place and besides I am friendly with the pitboss, dealers and waitresses. So I took that $10,000 and made it my bankroll. I spread $100-$800 so my RoR was quite high, like 92% but wouldn't you know. I had a hot streak and turned that $10,000 into $100,000. Hey somebody has to make up that other 8%. So anyway is it better to play at a table by yourself or with other people. And I am not going to take insurance when the count calls for it. That is a sucker play, despite everything you read that says it is the single most important strategy diviation. Ok well be gentle because I am new. And I look forward to hearing all your advice.
Blah, blah, blah. Insert new name/handle. Repeat story.
