Is The Jedi Mind Trick Cheating?

This a serious question, is it classed as cheating or AP?

Ok, you properly guessed I'm not in training to become a Jedi knight, however I do have an opportunity to pull off the Jedi mind trick. In a local casino, they are currently training a new dealer, who is so so bad, I can't believe she hasn't been sacked already. (she must be sleeping with the boss - and he must have bad taste, cause she's damn ugly too). The main problem with her skills (and what I want to take advantage of) is basic math, she can't add up to save her life, this also makes her nervous and leads to even more errors. Most of the time the pit boss or another dealer is watching very closely but sometimes not, when the players keep correcting her and I could take advantage.

Now, what I what to do is wave my hand in front of her whilst saying "21" every now and then, when I have a 3+ card 22 or 23. I could properly get away with being even more blatant like just saying sternly "No, I won!" whilst she's reaching out for my losing bet.

Any thoughts?

I remember one dealer who seemed to have great sympathy for players. If you hit an 11 and got 21, she would turn your hit card sideways and allow you to double down after the fact. It was a hit on soft 17 house, and she had trouble distinguishing hard 17 from soft 17, so I won many a hand after she busted hitting the hard 17.

It is fair game to cheer, pump your fist, and declare 21!!!! like you have won after hitting a stiff and getting 22. After all, you can make a mistake in math just like the dealer.

It is the casinos responsibility to have a dealer in place competent enough to add and run the game. If they put and idiot in charge of the cards and chips, then it is not your fault they make mistakes in your favor (even if you "encourage" mistakes also).

Be sure to catch any mistakes that are not in your favor. You might also try betting odd amounts, it is nice if they consistently pay you 5:3 on blackjacks instead of 4.5:3

The only thing to watch out for is totally raping the dealer. If you get to blantant, they might accuse you of collusion with the dealer, stealing, and cheating the house. It might be hard to prove the dealer was that bad, and that you both were not working together and in on the 'mistakes'.

Wow I hope you took full advantage of that. Doubling after seeing your card - Brilliant! Did she last long?

Exactly my thoughts, I can't imagine she'll last long although she been there about 6 weeks now, so i better take advantage quick.

Yep don't worry about that I'm on the ball. I'm already betting odd amounts against this dealer.

They already know she's bad because of the amount of supervision but I guess its the only worry. (apart from some ploppy correcting me) Usually they leave her alone for a bit until the punters complain and she gets moved to look after an empty roulette table. My biggest problem is when I'm playing I'm obsessed with getting the money. I don't like to be conservative and find it hard not to be aggressive! for example I'm technically spreading 100 units, (although I consider it only 4 units). So I guess I seriously need to consider this.
