it is profitable, presuming that your card counting skills are excellent.

Therein lies a crucial problem.
Depending upon the extent of your betting spread
and your emotional / financial tolerance for "risk"
you will need a bankroll of $50,000.
Half of that would be extremely risky.
Blithely ignoring the capitalization requirements will
create a situation where your probability of losing
all of your money will be dangerously high.
