is this dd game, no mid-shoe entry beatable?

Hello, everyone.

A local casino has this double deck game: $25 minimum; dealer hits soft 17; double down 9, T, 11; after split, double down only on 9, T, 11; split AA one time; pen is more than 80%; but no mid-shoe entry.

Because there is no mid-shoe entry, I can't wong in/out and have to play in all counts. I spread 1-5.

Is this particular game beatable even with the no mid-shoe entry rule? All comments are appreciated.

They have quite a few tables. Depending on the hours, you can take it heads up with the dealer. Other hours, you have other players.

The pen is awesome. But I'm not sure if the no mid-shoe entry rule makes the game unbeatable. Would appreciate comments if this game is beatable or not and how to beat it.

If you spread 16 to 1, then you can beat the game even you play it all.

This is a double deck game and he plays all and you want him to
spread 1 to 16!? Does that seem right to you??

So, realistically, to beat the no mid-shoe entry games, we will do a lot of wonging out and table hopping to avoid playing in bad counts? What’s the likelihood of getting pit attention with 16-1 spread?

16 to 1 !

:flame:

Soon the Pit Boss will whisper to a floor-person:

"See that dude? Watch this. Give him 50% for and he will suddenly remember that he has a date. L.O.L."

The e.v. for this game is just fair — but Pen' is the name of the game!

If the player spreads 6-1 and uses a Level Two count it is quite profitable.

They may even accept 8-1 in red chips, at least for awhile.

Just do not park yourself there for hrs. on end and more than once or twice a week.

Don't spread that much!! Do what the big gorilla said and you will be fine.

Flash1296, I am learning the BJInfo Open Source UBZ II V0.5 with the composite compromised index. UBZ II V0.5 is a Level 2, unbalanced card counting system. If I use this system and spread 6-1, I should be able to beat this double deck, no mid-shoe entry game, right? Thanks.

no midshoe entry

I am a red/green chipper. It would be great if they would make low limit no midshoe entry. I am usually packed in with a bunch of ploppies jumping in and out of the game. I rarely get heads up that lasts long. Every now and then everyone leaves the table with a big TC. Usually when that rare heads up opportunity comes and lasts it is very profitable. If only I could start a shoe by myself and know that I would finish it that way. If I could only complain about my game being no midshoe entry, life would be sweet.

I would use 1 to 2x4.
A grifter gambit of 3x1 to 1x8 would probably fly too. zg

If the no mid entry prevent spreading to 2 hands, you start with 2x1, count tanks go to 1x1 count rises again go up to 1x6+.

Or start at 2x1, count rises and you go to 2x2, 2x3, 2x4+

Why not? I mean, 1-8 is plenty, but if 1-16 in red is tolerated, why not? I do it all the time downtown...

If you want the table clear and have tough skin, just do a few low cost cammo moves like doubling a hard 14 or 15 against a 6 with minimum bet out..Maybe even split 10s, as the count is rising. You would be surprised at how fast the table clears. It is also great cover when used adequately.
