Is Wynn offer worth taking for future Comps?

Do you think it is worth staying 3 nights at Encore for $399 in a suite that was offered to me?

That is if I play there and then hopefully get comps?

I will be betting $5o min while there. Is that such small change for a "high roller" place that it won't even matter there and I will just end up with an overpriced room?

It is about $250 more than the other rooms on the strip I can get for the weekend I am going. It also includes Reve tickets which I don't really care much for though.

Hang out at their high limit tables and play some conservative black and pink for a few minutes (if you can). It got me 3 nights at Encore for free. Their hosts seemed a little more eager than average. Their high limit tables are very, very good by the way.

haha... I may have to do it though.. that place looks NICE.

I was playing in Biloxi at the casino I was staying at and after hours of Grn Blck play I thought "I must have a buffet by now.." I went over to the host and found I had earned $2's in comps.

let me tell ya some thing about wynn. One of the top casinos in the industry. They aint giving away much for nothing. A few minutes of black/pink is only worth afew dollars comp wise. You think you are going to risk a few hundred dollars and that turns into free rooms/suites?? Maybe you can pull this noff once, epsecailly with the aid of a top teir comp crad from anothet casino, but otherwise, ur risking of a couple bucks is only going to get you a few cents in comps. I think the phrase is fool me once.....lol
I agree...but this was not a ground out comp from the system, this was the executive host walking over and giving me his card. In my experience the computed comps on your account aren't worth ****...the best way to get comps is just from talking to hosts and PBs, usually they are more than happy enough to give you something depending on your relationship and/or action. The PB also told me to let him know if I ever wanted something to eat. I doubt however I had many "points" or whatever on my card at all.

If the $399 is for the whole weekend, it's a good price for a suite at Encore. Per-night, obviously a ripoff. Their normal rooms have a preferred/casino/convention rate of around $199/night these days if I remember right.

Nice place, of course.

Can I ask where this offer came from?

As for getting a comp, I think betting big long enough to hustle a host is possible, but probably too risky. At $200/hand, your EV cost is around $30/hr, but with huge variance.

Yes whole weekend, 3 nights.

Can I sell the tickets to Le Reve for $100? Haha than it would be worth it.

Came in the mail, my guess is from my platinum AMEX since I do all my Vegas booking with their travel department and MR points.

The Comps come from the Amex card. My son has the same Platinum card and he gets to stay with Wynn for free here in Macau. This one of many Amex promotions that Amex does for their high end customers.
