Where is the best place to see some awesome fireworks in Vegas on the 4th of July?
Fireworks go off from three locations. South strip - Mandalay Bay, mid strip - Ceasars and North strip - I am not sure what casino it was. maybe circus circus or riviera. (I don't think it was all the way up at the strat) Anyway, if you position yourself mid-strp you can see them all. Prime location is the 2 walkways crossing LVB at flamingo. But they get really crowded, as everyone has the same idea. The walkway from ceasars to just in front of Bill's gambling hall works best.Dyepaintball12 said:Where is the best place to see some awesome fireworks in Vegas on the 4th of July?
The fireworks at the north part of the strip are at the Hilton this year. I guess they were last year too. I thought they were actually on the strip at some place like Riveira but I guess not. Anyway the Hilton fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:20 pm. They go off from the roof, so you probably have to be outside to see them.mica said:Staying at the Hilton..will we be able to c fireworks there or should we leave grounds and head to the above mentioned sites?
Thx mica
Do the parking lots and vacant lots fill up with people, such as the lots across from the Hilton at the Riviera?kewljason said:The fireworks at the north part of the strip are at the Hilton this year. I don't know, aslan. Last year was my first 4th in Vegas and I watched from mid strip on the LVB crossover. I could see all three sets of fireworks from that vantage point.aslan said:Do the parking lots and vacant lots fill up with people, such as the lots across from the Hilton at the Riviera?
The only 4th I spent in Vegas, we went to the Fiesta/Texas Station on Rancho which had a good fireworks display.
It was 115 in the shade that day, and we did a barbeque outdoors in the shade beneath an array of misting devices. But, the only thing that provided relief was returning indoors.
Some Vegas friends recommended Fiesta/Texas Rancho for fireworks that year and joined us there. I guess the locals know where to go. Most would not be caught dead on the strip during normal times, let alone on the 4th of July.kewljason said:I don't know, aslan. Stations casino is advertising the best and biggest fireworks display at all of their casinos. I would imagine draws tons of families and locals. No matter where, 4th of July crowds make for playing conditions I won't deal with, so I will just stay close to home and watch fireworks and people from the strip.
Parking lots at Hilton are very good. I went there for July 4th previously.mica said:Staying at the Hilton..will we be able to c fireworks there or should we leave grounds and head to the above mentioned sites?
