Tonight i was playing at mystic lake things started out bad i had bought if for about 5k up to this point. While making my comeback the casino manager took me aside and told me they have the right to refuse anyone and gave me a "notice of temporary exclusion" -This notice is to inform you that you are excluded from all SMSC GE properties for a period of 72 hours. If you are found in violation of this exclusion, you will be excluded for one year.- They walked me to the cage to cash out my chips and then walked me to the door. Turns out i ended being up 1k for the session. So what does this notice mean? I have to wait three days before i can go count cards again? Will they just keep giving me these? Should i wait a few months to go back what do you guys think?

You should probably wait a little longer than the 72 hours. If you come back that soon they might "exclude" you for a year, which would be worse than waiting a few weeks to go back.

That's wierd. I would stay away for a while. I'm just wondering if there was anything more in your conversation with the casino manager. Did you ask why you were being excluded? Did he say anything about counting. Maybe he saw your big stack of chips, didn't know you had bought in for $5K, and thought that you were winning too much. I'm starting to think that big stacks of chips draw too much attention from the pit and the eye.

Try "rat-holing" some of your chips.

I don't think it was the amount of chips I had 2.5k in my pocket of black. Ive had A lot more than that out there at other times. Ive been counting there for a couple months and I'm up about 7k overall. Funny thing was he didnt mention anything about Blackjack. I will probably not go back for one or two months. Do you think it will make any difference if i used my players card or not when i go back?

That's a good question. Hopefully our more experienced friends can answer that one for us. :)

Probably not

If you use your player's card they will find you playing instantly, and if you don't they will find you playing after a few minutes, and know you are up to something.

They know you can count cards now and there is nothing you can do about that. What you have to do is demonstrate to them that you are not a threat to them. One way to do it is to give them a bit of non-BJ action. Video poker is part of the skill set of every advantage player and most casinos have VP games that offer a positive EV (if played correctly) with comps and cashback. Being it's a local casino you can use the comps for entertainment so they have real value to you. You can also look for weak dealers at other games, but these are very risky techniques, considered cheating by some and they also tend to have high variance. You can also learn some non-random shuffle exploitation, so the next time they see you spreading it will have nothing to do with the count and your reputation may be salvaged somewhat. But sadly, things will never again be as they have been for you at Mystic Lake.

One thing you need to keep in mind is that this is a casino run by fake Indian tribes and these are very corrupt organizations. You have minimal rights in there, and if a security guard doesn't like your attitude and decides to punch you in the face, you will have no recourse in civil court. Mystic Lake is a big place and they don't want bad press like that, but you never know what can happen when you are dealing with human beings.

What do u mean with fake indian tribe. Is that something like Rincon Harrahs here in SD? Where a casino corp. works together with a tribe?

By fake Indian, I mean people who suddenly start identifying with their Amerind heritage only when they get an opportunity to run a casino.
