keeping track of where you've been

Do any of you keep track of what stores you visit and when so as not to become too familiar at any one of them?

Do you just keep track in your head or do you log it down on paper or a spread sheet? I'm considering keeping a spread sheet or just writing it on a calander.

My spreadsheet has date and shift, dealer, length of time played, all sorts of monetary info, ev info, etc. And I always add any unusual conditions/happenings, etc.

Do it soon after the session while it's fresh in your mind.

If you're not familiar with a place, they PROBABLY are not familiar with you.

Thanks, I'll get started on one right away. I want to take my game to the next level and I thought this might be something I would want to have. Last thing I want to do is to become a fixture at the local stores. :)

That depends a lot on what they think of you and how tolerant they are. They see hardcore gamblers on a VERY regular basis - can you fit in with that stereotype??

Believe me, I'm not familiar with any place. I'm very green. LOL

I would probably fit in with the tourist type or someone looking for fun and relaxation.

Then of course you will need to not become too familiar of a face.

If you can pull off gambler though......

I'm so familiar at my local casino, they remember my name and rate me in the system even if I don't give them my card.

So I take it that your familiarity has NOT bred contempt? At least not yet? You must be working some good cover. :eyepatch:

Yes I think I have good cover. Lets just say APs fit a certain profile. Even when I notice another AP, they almost always fit the profile closely, and so I, and, ahem, others, tend to pay more attention to such people.

You mentioned you could appear to be a tourist ploppy, make sure you convey that image to the max. Simple things like wearing a Full Tilt Poker cap, or a T-shirt thats says "I visited LV and all I got was this lousy t-shirt", etc.,

Or they tolerate me since I'm not in the HL room ;)
