KISS, Bluebook II, weirdo-bashing, etc.

Hi everyone,
So what say you all of Renzey's material? I've heard very good things, namely that he gives fresh insights and his articulation is keen. I am at about the intermidiate level of knowledge and technique. I have read a few books so far, including Professional Blackjack, which I found to be more of a reference book than a good read. Wong can't write worth a damn. I don't plan on learning the upper-level counting techniques, namely because the law of dimishing returns seems to be in full effect here. I don't really plan on reading very many more books--especially by weirdos who I simply CANNOT relate to, like Snyder...God save me if I ever think big sunglasses with a bushy beard, a silly hat and a stupid vest is a good look--sorry, Bishop Snyder. I am generally attracted to the KISS philosphy in whatever I do (although this is usually in constant battle with my innate OCD!). Is Bluebook II a worthwhile read? Can you give me a "top 3 essential book" list?

Thanks guys,

Bb 2

Renzys BB2 is a great read I would recommend it. It is one of my favorite BJ books. Since you have already Dis,ed 2 of my other favorite books could only still recommed blackjack attack.

BB2 is articulate. seems as if that's what your looking for. Renzey has the gift of explaining things clearly.
have to say Blackbelt in Blackjack is also excellent.

You're right, it's a terrible look...but it's a great disguise! ;)

This is my fav. blackjack book. I actually started using the Mentor count in the back and it's been pretty successful for me, even though it's a bit tougher than the hi lo system it is ore efficient.

Just wish I had a bigger bankroll to work with.

YEah, mentor count was a bit rough to learn. You count every card except 8's.

If there is one thing I've been good at in my life, it is memorizing. I have the VIN number of every car I have ever owned memorized. Pretty messed up, eh?

Mentor ain't much different from Zen tho. I think two counters using these systems would be able to work together.
