KO in Reno?

Would anyone suggest altering KO preferred for Reno single deck rules? i.e. double only on 10 or 11? If a good amount of the extra advantage in positive counts comes from double downs paying off, then it seems the ramp should be slower, maybe...

Also, if you want to broaden this discussion to other counting systems, in general, I would be interested in thoughts there as well.

Maybe a little. But keep in mind you don't have a very big spread available in SD, 1-4 will be all you can get away with in Reno (if that), and thus there isn't much of a difference in RC between a minimum bet and a maximum bet.

Also, soft doubles and doubles on 8 and 9 are profitable but also add variance because they are riskier bets- especially soft doubles. So just off the top of my head, I'd use the same game plan on a D10 and a DOA game, assuming you only start increasing your bet when you have an advantage in either D10 or DOA.
