KO/reKO question

Am I understanding the KO book correctly in thinking that in a 2D game, for 12v4, 12v5, 12v6, 13v2 and 13v3, you stand if the RC is equal to or greater than the IRC (as in BS), but HIT if the count is less? In reKO, only the 12v4 is listed as an index play for 2D but +2 is used. The others are included for SD, but also at +2. That doesn't seem to correspond to how the rest of reKO compares to Preferred KO in that +2 is well above the IRC. Or am I misunderstanding something?
Also, if I am correct in my understanding of the index play calling for a hit on pretty basic plays that are contrary to BS, and grouped around 12 and 13 against low dealer upcards, is that likely to be recognized as an index play by alert dealers or PB's, or do more people take a hit on those plays than I would expect?

A) Its NOT recognizable, and
B) DON'T WORRY about what plays are recognizable! zg

Ps- Most dealers and pitcritters are clueless.

Yeah, for the most part what I've seen is that the Pit is clueless to indices like this.

The only people I seem to take crap from for playing this way is other players, but hey, Im making money and they're not.

So my understanding of the index plays is correct, then?
Any idea about the difference between the "C" plays in Preferred KO at the the IRC compared to +2 in reKO?

Index Plays

reKO is a simplified version of an already simple system. In a two deck game reKO would have you hitting 12v4 up to a RC of +2. It is a borderline play that doesn't cost you a lot to play it this way. As for the others 13v2
13v3 12v5 12v6, if you were playing a single deck game reKO would have you hitting these as well up to +2 RC. KO is more accurate than reKO and you are better to follow the former. If you're a dedicated two deck player you may want to True Count it (TKO) and use Hi-Lo index numbers. (or TKO indicies if you find them).
