I just learned the embarrassing way on something. To save myself from more pathetic moments, what all are casinos called? I am aware of sino and now the term --> shopping. Ha, what else are they called so to not look like a noob again

You should not be embarassed here at all, this is a site to learn about the game. They are casinos and we affix different names to the same place for folly. Being new is good because you have alot of resources at your disposal and we all like to help people. You will have to put up with a little ribbing in the meantime. The name you assign to the place is not really important we all catch your drift. Out in public you call them what they are "a money trap".

Thank you, I feel much better. Money Traps, that one is funny. I am definitely learning new things every day I am on here, it is a very nice place. I can take a little grief now and again, I grew up with older brothers and being the only girl, I am totally used to catching flack for being a bit behind.

i have a while playing blackjack but it has been using downloaded software and on the online casino that i selected, i have been playing using strategy charts but usually directly from the internet, the ones im using right now i feel very comfortable with and i would like to know what's the etiquette on the blackjack table and how the other players feels when handling a novice with a strategy chart..

Playing BJ with basic strategy is a lost game , you will lost your money at the long run, you should learn to count cards Before go to the casino.

Mmm... I disagree with that. I think you should go to the casino exactly once playing just BS, at the lowest minimum table you can find. Bring 40 units with you and play until you feel comfortable in a casino environment.

Different strokes, of course, but for me this was an invaluable experience before taking my first trip actually counting.
