yep they will. at least some will. heck try it...Dopple said:Will most places let you sit a couple out. Could you sit 3 or 4 out?
I have never tried this but it sure would be great when the count is getting a little shabby.
I read about this in another post and it sounds like a great idea if you can do it.
You simply take an imaginary cell call. zgDopple said:Will most places let you sit a couple out. Could you sit 3 or 4 out?

If you sit out hals you increase your effective spread x2, sit our 2/3rds, x3, etc. zgDopple said:Will most places let you sit a couple out. Could you sit 3 or 4 out?

gotta add that one to my (meager) arsenal. maybe with a twist. like if some ploppsy gets on me for messin up the mystic flow well maybe i'll just sit out a few so as they can fix it. lolshadroch said:As does sitting out a hand or two simply because someone screwed with The Sacred Flow Of The Cards..You get to miss a few negative hands and show the world you are a ploppy at the same time.
If the dealer busts while you are sitting out, remind everyone that this occurred because you sat out and restored the flow. If he wins, remind everyone that that is what happens when someone screws with TSFOTC.sagefr0g said:gotta add that one to my (meager) arsenal. maybe with a twist. like if some ploppsy gets on me for messin up the mystic flow well maybe i'll just sit out a few so as they can fix it. lol
IMO, if you are on the edge and you had been playing before, the count sounds like it is coming down. And that isn't necessarily something you want to be missing.Dopple said:Bathroom or cell is fine but you lose track of the "flow". I like it when you are right on the edge of good and bad.
yeah i like to be there on the edge so to speak as well. but if i'm out hopefully i'm out for the reason that the true is in significant negative territory and isn't likely to rebound to the juicy stuff lol. point being that a falling count isn't as likely to have as much value in negative true territory as it would in positive true territory. at least from the perspective of getting the lucrative double downs as less money will be out and probably less successful doubles. back to these charts for referance... got to love these two graphs lol: http://www.blackjackincolor.com/truecount6.htmChefJJ said:IMO, if you are on the edge and you had been playing before, the count sounds like it is coming down. Man I feel bad, I messed up the flow of the cards last night by splitting my tens. I caused the dealer to draw 8 to the 13 for 21.
First base said he "was expecting that to happen".
