Light blue chip rounding advantage

I was playing at a $3 table. The casino had light blue chips worth $2.50 for paying a $3 bet blackjack $4.50 (2 whites + 1 light blue). By accident I found that if I bet $3.50 (1 white + 1 light blue), I would win $5.25, and since there is no $0.25 chip, the casino had to pay me $5.50. I started betting $3.50 every hand, grabbing quite a few of these rounding advantages on BJ's. Could this get me extra heat? I wonder how much of an advantage it gave me.

25cents every 22 hands played. % wise a valuable play for really low stakes.

In a 6 deck game betting $3.50, house edge is reduced by 0.32%.

Guess you missed that other thread lol but I bet Bob will come close to the same answer!

See if you can shoot any angles with the insurance payouts. Places that will pay a full insurance payout for less than the full insurance bet can be very lucrative.

Note that consistently betting a 1.00 and 2.50 chip could possibly be annoying to dealers if they have to "splash" your chips every time they make a payout.

I'm not saying it's not an awesome low roller advantage, but you might want to understand why the dealers look so pissy if you do it.

if you get 25 blackjacks an hour your new advantage is minimum wage...yah!
So, in that case, find a 100 people and pay them the $5/hr after tax and keep the extra 35 cents/hr to your self lol.

Guaranteed money, zero risk lol.

Hey, all you and Toast need are a really, really fast dealer to make your dreams come true lol.

Although if Toast was assuming a really really fast dealer that could actually give u 25 BJ's an hour, it would just mean he loses more per hour.

And if he assumed a game in which BJ will be dealt every 4th hand, that also would be more than min wage, to say the least.

And, if his point was, that someone got really lucky in an hour and got 25 BJ's that hour instead of 5, and therefore won min wage that hour instead of losing 35 cents that hour, whooppee doo. So someone got lucky for an hour.

For some, it might be nice to know you could play BJ for 50 hours at this game at a full table and it would still cost u less than going to a movie.

Add 10 more hours if you buy popcorn lol.

Double it if u pay for your wife when u go to the movies :)

you should read my post from another thread.. http://www.blackjackinfo.com/bb/showpost.php?p=55410&postcount=21

nevermind all the bickering that went on, read the last paragraph with the math, it shows how if your casino rounds up (most dont) on a $5.50 bet, that you can cut your losses by 47% if you play basic strategy
