Limited to playing one hand

For a time a local store decided to control seating in a busy pit by limiting players to a single box (instead of just raising the minimum ). I liked it, as there were six tables together, so you could backcount/wong at will, knowing that there will always be an box available at a table with a good count. :) Was I wrong?

Busy pit and box available do not seem to go together, nor is the assumption that a box will always be available at a good count.

I could see this being both good and bad. At the busiest times, with a low table minimum, I would think all spots would be filled. But at off-peak hours, this would definitely provide more wonging opportunities! Nice!

You said "for a time"...I take it they discontinued this?

Serious players and HR's will not frequent a place with these rules.

Have you ever tried this to get a seat at a crowded table:

With your coat and tie on, walk up behind a suspected AP, tap him on the shoulder and say, "Sir, your play is no longer welcome here. You may play any game except blackjack."

No, but I wanted to once.

And I know 1 AP here that thought he was gonna get the tap from a nicely dressed ploppy and got the hell out of the casino after maybe three shoes....
