What he should do is buy in with $10000 cash and bet $100/hand for hours and cash out with 10 extra black chips in addition to his buy in.

Try to cash in a stolen RFID chip.:) It's just clay until it's cashed.

Easy to zap RFIDs >>
Here's an RFID-ZAPPER made from a cheap camera -

Radio frequency IDs (RFIDs), small electronic chips that share information when scanned, are rapidly becoming an essential part of global supply management. In order to correctly route and track items from inception to purchase, these chips are attached to packaging and increasingly the products themselves.

The intentional disabling of these chips can cause supply chain disruption. The best method is to HERF (high energy radio frequency, usually microwaves) the chips using a small transmitter (read about high power home made microwave weapons for herfing). The German branch (privacy activists) of the global guerrilla innovation network has developed a simple solution that converts a standard film camera into a short range RFID zapper.

Some years ago, I posted to BJ21 that RFID was coming and was a threat. I was laughed at. But, I really don't think we should be providing links to sites that propose vandalism.

If you can zap SOME of your chips before play at Wynn you can obscure both your betting pattern and action. zg

what % of the chips are NOT RFID? If your the only one who ever has these wont you get busted? also if you dont know which are zapped and which are not, youll often do a playall and itll be recorded as backcounting and lots of wonging (best to make sure your min bet is NOT zapped)

Who robs a casino for chips???

All the $5000 and over chips are worthless. You can't cash those without a player card showing where you got them from. And they won't accept them at a table without a player card either. Especially now they're going to extra cautious with how those chips are accepted.

Caesars in Atlantic city (def not a grind joint) won't even accept orange at the table without a player card.

The headline should be "robber steals $25000 in chips and some colorful clay"

The black he can get cashed, possibly the purple and orange. The rest are garbage now. I don't think this heist was thought out too well

Out of curiosity, what are the higher colors than orange?

Depends on the place. Even orange and below are different colors in places. But $5000 and up have a pretty big variation in colors from place to place

Careful zapping and marking so you can coordinate your betting to appear unrelated to count. zg

Te fence is getting a bad deal

The B has changed all the chips by now and anyone who presents the old ones is going to be asked a lot of questions.

They might be able to cash a few $5000 chips with the right connections, but probably not too many. You basically need a legit high roller to claim he took them home with him. $25k chips will be impossible to cash stolen ones.

Playing them/breaking them at the table will likely be impossible. They won't take them at the table if the chips are changed and they'll be told to take them to the cage, and if they can't explain where they came from they're not getting paid
