Recent Guest Feedbackby Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 4:28pm

Dear Facebook Fans,

We sincerely appreciate the feedback that many of you have been leaving us recently. We'd like to address a few of the more frequent posts/comments we've received.

With the recent addition of table games to the Sands gaming floor, new business demands have been created. Some of our guests have noticed a change in cleanliness, frequency of beverage service, and longer than expected waits for the poker room or other table games. Your feedback has not gone unnoticed, and the Sands is currently in the process of hiring more staff to accommodate the high influx of patrons we are serving on a daily basis.

The Sands will continue to offer free beverages to patrons while they are playing at any of the slot machines, electronic or live table games. We have brought on new servers this week, and will continue to add more in the next few weeks.

Over 20 new table game team members were added this week, with nearly 30 positions still in the hiring process. The addition of these dealers will allow for more tables games to be open, thus decreasing wait times and lowering minimums on some tables.

Table games have piqued the interest of both current and new visitors to the Sands, and we admit it has been a challenge to keep up with the heavy foot traffic. We are adding new team members in our Facilities department who will ensure our property gets back to the high cleanliness standards we have set for ourselves.

Again, we appreciate all of your feedback. All comments are logged and sent to the appropriate department for review. We thank you for your patience while we work diligently on staffing, scheduling and adding positions at the Sands. We strive to provide our patrons with exceptional service at the Sands, and we apologize for any inconvenience that our guests may have recently experienced .

Regards,

Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem

This sounds like a specific response to their survey which I completed, Tues. 8/17. Maybe I'm not the only person who wants a quality casino instead of a slots rip off parlor. I played there Thurs. nite 8/19 from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. No improvements were obvious. They only had one BJ table with a $ 10 minimum. Sands needs to work harder on player relations because I observe Mt. Airy and Hollywood at Penn National doing a better job.

Im no gaming expert but having a large enough and compentant staff is something they should have done months ago. The whole process took at least a year to do. Common sense would've directed them to maybe do some hiring for the expected rise in casino attendance which they estimated to be significantly higher.
