Million Dollar Blackjack

Quick question for those familiar with the title. . .

I bought it off eBay the other day along with 2 other books for $10. Now I know that it's an older book relatively speaking and it's largely devoted to a count system that I am only interested in for historical purposes.

So in regard to actual practical information, what should I be looking to take from this book? What does it have to offer me?

It's great.

It has some info one teamplay, holecarding, and spooking, all of which are pretty rare in books.

But more importantly, it's the source of a bunch of of wild and crazy 70's anecdotes that basically read like science fiction to me.

Other "wayback machine" books from my standpoint would be "Playing Blackjack as a Business" (Revere, 1971) and Ian Anderson's original "Turning the Tables in Las Vegas" (Anderson, 1976).

Thanks for the good info. I got it in the mail the other day and have cracked it open long enough to glance inside, but that's about it. Looks like a lot of small print on big pages!

I'll get around to it in the relatively forseeable future. For now I'm still heavily in--and enamored with--Blackbelt in Blackjack.
