I have been using this for a while to practice with, does anyone have any experiences with the app that they'd like to share? Commentary? Scrutiny?

While being the best of a bad lot, as so to speak, it is of little appreciable value.

Note: this application is updated approx. 2 or 3 times per month, so there remains hope for substantive improvement.

If you are a registered owner — you could do well by telling the software developer that the interface is beyond ugly.

Oh hell yes the interface is bad...reminds me of my first UIs back in 98 :x

That being said, I just like to be a able to practice BS and simple counts on the bus haha. I like that it actually plays card by card in the show, none of the CSM bs.

I have casino verité on my laptop, but taking out the laptop is a PITA since it's a gaming laptop.

This is the first BJ game i've downloaded simply cause i was looking for something to mess around with using a new counting method. The one thing i say is really nice about it is you can program your own indices (as many as you'd like) and program any counting strategy you'd like if you get the BJPro21 to go along with it. I programmed in a ton of indices and added a new method to it and it works pretty well. That being said, i don't think games like this help near as much as playing with actual cards, but was still fun to mess with.

i actually really like this app for the iphone..

it helps alot with practicing counting full shoes and the best part is that you don't have to manually shuffle or deal cards !

a method i've used to practice is i just have CPU play 3 spots and i just backcount the entire shoe.

Midwestern, I do the same thing. I have to ride a bus to site every day, so that gives me an hour and a half to practice back counting watching the CPU play.

Also doesn't hurt that I can make the game essentially clone the conditions at the local casino here, minus the ability to make it only take its first card.

Blackberry Apps

I use Win@Blackjack on blackberry as a basic strategy trainer. It's pretty fast to play, allows many rule variations and tells you when you make an error. It's only good for basic strategy though.

I just got an iPad, so I am looking for the best bj app for iPad.
