Multi-hand or not?

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to Blackjack, or I haven't really started yet. But I have trained card counting and learnt the BS, and it works good.

Anyway, my question to you guys is what you think is the best way of playing, single hand or multi-hand? If multi-hand, how many hands?

If you are playing with others at the table, it is best to play single hand until you get to a certain positive count than you can go to more hands. It would depend on your specific situation and counting system.

You could also do multi-hands to eat up bad counts if your lowest unit bet isn't the table minimum. For example your one unit bet is $20. During high minus count's you can play two hands at 10 a piece to eat up the minus counts.

Read the Zengrifter interview for more details about this. He, or someone else he knew dubbed it the "Grifter Gambit". It works best when playing heads up with the dealer.
