My Blackjack Strategy

I was wondering if a single blackjack strategy is working for most casinos. Or should one use a different strategy per casino?

How is this possible. Why can't one have a single strategy?

My strategy is very simple: If I'm dealt a total of < 12, I hit. On 12 I hit too, but after that I pass to avoid bust. I never split nor double either.

Any tips?

You can decrease the house edge by 4-5% by learning how to play properly. On the left side of this website is a Basic Strategy Engine that will teach you how to play your hands based on the rules you select. Start there.

And once you DO learn basic strategy, you'll find that for all intents and purposes, it IS a universal strategy that can be played in all casinos. While there ARE a few recommended changes depending upon the rules, they are so miniscule that you'd never notice a difference. No offense, but the strategy you're using NOW is so horrible that you might as well be just flushing your money down the toilet.

Your strategy WILL most definately work for any and all CASINOS! It just won't work for YOU. When I got serious about blackjack, I got serious about learning the CORRECT strategy.

It is a sin to throw your money at the casino like this.
On the other hand it is guys like this that keep the casino open for us.

What type of guys? Are you referring to guys like JFR, or do you also mean players who play correct basic strategy?

If every BJ player executed perfect basic strategy, this would reduce the house advantage to around 0.5%. I wonder if THIS would be enough to keep the casino open. Another thought, if blackjack only brought in a half percent, the casino would probably just shut down the game and replace the floor space with more slot machines.
