My "Casino Of The Month"

Has to be the "Four Winds" in Michigan. This casino is near Blue Chip and is kicking their butt, deservedly:grin:

This is a year old casino resort placed in a very beautiful wooded area. It has a upscale hotel attached, no pool but outdoor jacuzzi. But when I go to a casino it for sure is not to swim The rates are rather expensive.

The casino is very modern with the latest interactive electronics and touchscreen technology and many flat screen TV's placed in the casino. For sure a hi-tech casino. Four Winds is very clean and safe with excellent air handling. The restaurants are first rate and give a great dining experience. The dealers and pit are very relaxed and professional. For VP you can even find Hot Aces and JOB 9/6.

The BJ is all 6d, s-17, doa, das, split to 4 hands and split aces once to one card, except in HL where you have RSA. The HL room is very nice and exclusive and has slots, and BJ. A nice feature here is you can play 2 spots for table Min. While the BJ here is not the best in the Midwest it is playable and this casino is to be applauded for moving their games in the right direction.

What they need now is to add DD to the mix.

An Amtrak station -stop is being added a short distance away that runs to Chicago as well as into lower S. Michigan and will prove to be an extra boon to this fine establishment.

When did they go to ALL 6 deck games. I was there the first of August and I seen a ton of 8 deck games.

I believe the outside areas have many 8 deck shoes. Then again, I don't remember if I have been there in the last 2 months.

comps suck at four winds

I have been there about five times and it is a beautiful but they are very stingy. After my 5th visit they wouldn't even comp me for a 12 dollar buffet. I really like Bj dealers and tables at blue chip, not crowded friendly and slow paced dealers. Also is next to a giant outlet mall if your wife does not gamble.

I believe the outside areas have many 8 deck shoes. Then again, I don't remember if I have been there in the last 2 months.

One thing to mention - they track bets each round using RFID in their chips.

It used to be eight decks on almost all of their tables. They switched to six decks on all tables except for a couple of hi tie tables.

also found 7 BJ tables are H17 on the main floor:cry:
But finished my session there with a 58 units win,1 hour:flame:

Sorry to hear about the changes. Next summer the Battle Creek casino will be open so New Bufallo will have to deal with that tough competition. I don't know how well you looked for the 9/6, but I bet it is still there, you may have missed it.

H-17 is spreading for sure, and since I am not addicted to gambling I only play the fine games. There are so, so, so many suckers that will play anything:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: Far better games are to be found in the area.

Not sure what you mean by that,i was standing behind a player who's playing the VP machine,and i saw he hit a flush and it paid 5-1
Also where is Battle creek located? hopefully they offer some playable DD's.

There are a number spread around that casino, including HS. Maybe they are gone, doubt it.

Battle Creek, 90 miles, right off the XWAY.

DD....Hmmmm a "Predator", and there are a pack of them on this site, does not wait for the Prey to come to it....it *stalks* far and wide in search of it's Prey, and then when the time is right...STRIKES ...sinking it's deadly fangs in the jugular of the unsuspecting Prey, tasting the blood and as the "Predators" eyes glaze over in ecstasy... at the taste of that warm, red fluid,
it readies to gorge itself on the *unsuspecting* Prey.

A "Predator" makes it happen.
