My new backcounting strategy

So in the past, i have had trouble backcounting, and then somebody coming and taking my seat, its really pissed me off but theirs not much i could do about it.

Last night i noticed something, peopel looked at me sitting, saw me not playing and walked away. it happened like 5 times, and i could tell they wanted to play because they were holding their wallets.

Im not sure if its true or not but my theory is it had to do with the 1700 dollars in green chips i had in three stacks 6 inches tall on the table. It makes sense because you never want to make angry the big fish in the casino or the pit will get mad at you, so this is my new strategy, carry around a mountain of chips and hold my spot by displaying it openly while waiting to jump in. I also think a mountain of green chips says a lot more than a small stack of black

Musical Chairs.

Women will notice you.
Potential thieves will notice you.
If you go to the same casino, they will definately notice you.
If you go to different casinos, at the time you will be noticed and eventually the casinos will remember you.

Just start paying attention and if someone moves to the table while you are watching, you gotta sit.

If you are at a casino that is mostly full, table watching may be impracticle.

The disadvantages are that you can't switch tables very easily and it'll be very easy to watch you from surveillance. You'll have to decide whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

One common variant is where you show up with a big stack of chips and a companion who "needs help" with basic strategy. Your companion flat-bets the table min and asks a lot of questions during the low counts (preventing you from playing), and then doesn't ask questions during the high counts and you flat-bet a high amount.
